Loving father of David and his wife Bev of St. Thomas, Karen and her husband Christian of Hamilton, and Michael and his wife Cheryl of London. Devoted Papa of Jasmine and Eli. Dear son of William (Bill) and the late Alma McRorie. Loved brother of Allen McRorie (Katie), Nancy Cates (Gerald), Margaret Frayne (Les), Mary Greenwood (Chris), and Carolyn Linsdell (the late Laurence) and brother-in-law of Patricia Enns (Ron) and Joan Crittenden (Paul). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Don enjoyed a long career as an educator and a lifetime as a humanitarian. He touched many lives. Special thanks to all of the caregivers at London Health Sciences Centre. Don's life will be celebrated at Metropolitan United Church, 468 Wellington St. at Dufferin Ave., on Saturday, January 21 at 3:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place and interment will follow in the spring at Warwick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Metropolitan United Church Foundation, the Kiwanis Club of Middlesex, or the London Regional Cancer Program would be gratefully acknowledged.
