"Well Beloved, Mrs. Sheridan Dies at Cliff
Active Worker in Community Welfare

A resident of Copper Cliff for the past 21 years, where she took an active and enthusiastic part in the welfare of the community, particularly in the work of the church, Mrs. Clara P. Sheridan, wife of L.M. Sheridan, chief engineer of The International Nickel Company, died last night in the Copper Cliff Hospital after a lengthy illness. The late Mrs. Sheridan was well-known and well-loved in both Copper Cliff and Sudbury for her many acts of kindness and will be much missed by all who came in contact with her during her long residence in the North.

Born in Boston, Mass., she moved with her family to Anaconda, Montana, where she spent her childhood days, and where she was married in 1907. Until 1919 Mrs. Sheridan went with her husband to various points in the Western States where his work called him, coming to Canada 21 years ago.

She is survived by her husband, two sisters, Mrs Charles J. Kelly and Mrs. Kenneth B. Fraser, of Butte, Montana who have been in Copper Cliff for the past few weeks, and one brother, J. Peters, of Butte, Montana, who will be unable to attend the services.

Funeral services conducted by Rev. Father WT Batterton, will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Stanislaus Church in Copper Cliff. Interment will be in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Sudbury.
