Shared note	OBITUARY homas Gordon Janes Sunday, 10 November 1940 - Saturday, 17 October 2015 It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Thomas Gordon Janes at his home on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at the age of 74. Beloved husband and best friend for 51 years of Iva Mae (Shannon) Janes. Loving and devoted father of Lynda (Jered) Sweet and Thomas Jr. (Debbie). Cherished grandfather of Shannon, Riley, Lindsey and Spencer. Thomas will be sadly missed by his brothers; Paul (Mary) Janes and family, David (Pat) Janes and family, brother-in-law Wayne (Anne) Shannon and family. Predeceased by his parents Dougall and Marion Janes. Tom was a retired CA, an active member of the Masonic Lodge and an avid fisherman and woodworker. He loved spending time at the cottage in Tobermory and at the trailer in Florida. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at ST. PAUL’S UNITED CHURCH, 360 Devine St., Sarnia, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with a Masonic Lodge Service to commence at 2:00 p.m. and a memorial service to celebrate Tom’s life immediately following. Sympathy may be expressed through donations at London Road West United Church or the Cryptic Rite Charitable Foundation.
