Marcel Beaudoin Sunday, 29 August 1948 - Friday, 20 February 2015 Marcel Beaudoin, age 66, passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health, on Friday, February 20, 2015. Marcel was the unofficial greeter of Sumac Lodge. He’d greet everyone with, “Howdy, how’s your family and what are they doing today?” Marcel’s presence touched the hearts of many. He had a huge passion for trains and would stand for hours watching them at the back of the family property. He would also lean on his bike for hours, fascinated by the trucks and bulldozers belonging to the neighboring top soil business. Marcel was a very, very dedicated pop tab saver for the Shriners. No pop tab slipped past him. Marcel absolutely thrived on the unending love shown to him by his many nieces, nephews, and great, as well as great-great nieces and nephews. Dinky toys and legos were always on his list for Christmas. Marcel was a devoted Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan and an avid bowler. He enjoyed many summers camping at Cedar Bay He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Cleora Beaudoin, and step-mother Millie. Dear brother of Ron (Wanda) Farr, Debbie (Mike) Janicki, Michael (Susan) Beaudoin, the late Bob Beaudoin (Mary Ann Beaudoin and Dan Watson), the late Jo-Ann (the late Howard) Scott, Denise (Robert) Palmer, Richard (Gloria) Beaudoin, Janet (Robert) Marsh, and Doug (Ann Marie) Beaudoin. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 pm, with words of tribute to be shared at 8:00 pm.
