Shared note	SHANNON, John “Wayne” Passed peacefully away in his home surrounded by his loving family on August 26th, 2019 in his 73rd year. Leaves behind loving wife Anne of 50 years. Beloved brother of Iva Mae Janes. Cherished father of Michael Shannon and Kathryn Shannon. Proud Grandpa of Carter and Jake. Wayne was a dedicated employee of Sears Canada for 32 years. He was also a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge, and in his early years was involved with Shriners and the London Optimist Club. A family man, his favourite thing was to spend time at the cottage with his wife and children. A special thanks to Dr. Achtar and the nursing staff at St. Elizabeth’s as well as the PSW staff at Paramed. Cremation has taken place. Private Celebration of life to be held in his honour. In lieu of flowers, the family greatly appreciates donations to be made to the Parkinson’s Society of Southwestern Ontario. Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of John Wayne Shannon.
