In sadness, we announce the death of James “Keith” Moffatt on Sunday March 7th, 2021 at home, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Marion (Beaumont). Dear father of Mary (David) and John (Jennifer). Much loved grandpa of Andrew and Benjamin (Moffatt), and dear brother of Beverly (Paul Loucks). Predeceased by a daughter, Susan (1995), a brother, Donald (2020) (Gwen Scott-Moffatt), and his parents Hiram and Beryl Moffatt.
Widely known as a former owner of Moffatt and Powell, along with his business partner, David Powell, he built many strong relationships over the 50 plus years of his career. He genuinely enjoyed participation in Rotary and attended many Rotary International annual conventions in different parts of the world. Sports were also a passion for Keith, particularly hockey, golf, and horse racing. Keith will be dearly missed by many great friends.
He was a member of Havelock Masonic Lodge, Watford; recipient of the 50-year pin, past master, and participant in many lodge activities over the years. Keith firmly believed in the Rotary Motto, Service Above Self. A man of deep faith, his family is comforted by knowing that Keith has gone to be with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
