He was in his 68th year. His wife the former Doris Horton, survives him, along with a daughter Helen M. Janes at their home 278 Aberdeen Ave., Hamilton. Another daughter Mrs. G.T. Thoren (Barbara) of Tokyo Japan is also left to mourn his loss, along with four brothers, C.E. Janes of Wyoming, Dr. R. M. Janes of Toronto, Dr. L.V. Janes of Burlington and W.K. Janes of Watford and one sister Miss Evelyn of Watford. Funeral service was held from Central Presbyterian Church, Hamilton, this Wednesday afternoon with cremation following. Dodsworth and Brown Funeral Home, Main St. West at Bay, Hamilton was in charge of funeral arrangements with a memorial gift toHamilton Hospital Association 286 being preferred to flowers.
