Shared note	OBITUARY HALL Joseph Milton Hall of Arkona passed away at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Friday, January 14, 1983 in his 86th year. He was predeceased by his wife Lyda (Lampman) Hall in 1955. He is survived by his daughter Ruth (Mrs. Anton Galonski) of Sarnia, two sisters and one brother, Jennett (Mrs. Alfred Hillier) fo Sarnia, Bert Hall of Wyoming, Margaret (Mrs. Ivan Fonger) of Kerwood. Predeceased by one brother Russell and one sister Christina. Also survived by three grandsons Peter of Edmonton, Mark of Mississauga and Philip of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Mr. Hall was the R1, Arkona [mail] carrier for 20 years. He rested at the Gilpin Funeral Home, Thedord, until Monday noon, January 17th, thence to the Arkona United Church for the service at 2 pm with Rev. Gordon Merkley officiating. A graveside service was conducted by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 278 of Thedford. Pall bearers were Carmen Wilcocks, Carmen Butler, Fred Moore, Charlie Page, Jack McPherson, and Marvin Eastman. Interment at Arkona Cemetery.
